Every time I doodle and sketch, I try to visualize it as an illustration. A difficult yet pleasing art that still eludes me. Though, the proverb, "Try try till you succeed" rings in my ears, I wish things would go fast forward. Such pangs of desperation increase when I come across awesome illustrations done by fab illustrators. The flow, detailing, vision and focus is enough to throw my mind in a whirlpool of thoughts. All these thoughts always have only one epicenter - when will I find my style of illustration?
Till then, meet my Illustration Goddesses.
Laura Laine's work is always on the top of my mind! Her work speaks volume of her talent and passion for illustration. Simple, lucid, graceful yet bold, hot and strong lines with loads of drama. Laura is simply brilliant.

Carine Brancowitz is an another illustrator whom I simply can't stop worshiping. Her penchant for detailing and love for simplicity woes me every time I come across her work. Simple day to day scenes are converted to pieces of work by her and that too with mind blowing ease.

And lastly, Marguerite Sauvage. The bling, the spark and spunk, the charisma that make people take notice of her work, makes me go wow in case of Marguerite.

I pray, I start somewhere and maybe someday match these standards. There are many more awesome illustrators and everyday I am discovering more of them. It is an awesome feeling to know that there are many (above mentioned illustrators are trained) who are untrained like me but seeing them successful and content, gives me hope. If you are interested, here is some hope for you too!
wow.. this illustrations make me wish I also had some talent ingrained in me! They are cool indeed!!
